Both resorts are located in beautiful Seeley Lake, Montana, providing charming cabins and elegant suites. The Lodges is situated on the western shores of Seeley Lake, offering guests a dramatic view of the Swan Range. Eagle Port is on higher ground four miles to the east, providing a luxurious escape at the base of the Swan Range. Families, friends, and groups have been enjoying The Lodges for over 70 years and now the newly constructed Eagle Port offers guests more great lodging options in this magical part of the world. February 12, 2012 – Wine and Chocolate Silent Art Auction

Put the chocolate and wine back into romance and stop by Littlebird’s Schoolhouse Restaurant for the annual Alpine Artisans silent art auction on February 12th (1 – 4 p.m.).  Local photography, paintings, fiber arts, and  sculptures will be on display before the auction.  Proceeds support the Scholarship and Youth Programs of Alpine Artisans. Admission is $25 in advance and $30 at the door.

February 19, 2012 – Ozone Cross Country Ski Race

Come race on Seeley Lake’s beautiful cross country ski trails on February 19th. The Missoula Nordic Ski Club hosts it’s annul OZONE race with registration starting at 08:30 a.m. at the ski trails. This unique race features both skate and classical skiing. The Seeley Creek  trail head is located a few minutes drive from the Lodges.

February 25, 2012 – Snow Joke Half Marathon

Kick the 2012 marathon season off right in Seeley Lake with the state’s first official marathon race on February 25th. The starter’s gun for the 33rd annual Snow Joke race shoots off at 11:00 a.m.  Race day registration for the 13.1 mile race is 8:45 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The registration fee is$15.00 ($5.00 if under age 20). The Snow Joke is a great training run for the Missoula, Marathon in July. Regardless of weather the race is on! Plan ahead and stay at the Lodges, located minutes away from the starting line.
